The GEM Angola Country Report
Following the methodology defined by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) the research analyses the aspirations and difficulties of entrepreneurs, as well as the conditions that facilitate or restrain the entrepreneurial activity.
The study marks the 8th edition of GEM in the country, which began in 2008. For more than a decade, Angolan entrepreneurial activity has been compared between the economies of different income levels in Africa and other continents. As such, the Angolan entrepreneurship study has been placed in perspective with low-income savings, group in which the country is included, but also with the averages of the middle- and high-income economies.
