About Us

Gender STI investigates the state of gender equality in scientific careers, gender balance in decision-making and the integration of the gender dimension in R&I content.
The Project has put in place a strategy to co-design solutions to address the gender equality challenges and work to engage relevant stakeholders in bilateral and multilateral dialogues in STI.

The Project

The emergence of covid-19 changed the world and put the science and technology community at the forefront of the battle, leading to an unprecedented amount of international cooperation in science to take on this disease. This is mind, it is now more important than ever to ensure that women are given opportunities to participate in this crucial research. To accomplish this, we must analyze gender equality in bilateral and multilateral STI agreements and develop solutions to common challenges.
Gender STI will investigate the state of gender equality in scientific careers, gender balance in decision-making and the integration of the gender dimension in R&I content. It will also develop a strategy to co-design solutions for the gender equality challenges identified and work to engage relevant stakeholders in these important dialogues.
